The Epiphone EJ-200 is an affordable, quality jumbo acoustic guitar that pays tribute to the iconic Gibson J-200, known as the "King of the Flat-tops". It is praised for its attractive appearance, playability, and bright, balanced tone, making it suitable for various musical styles.
- Body: It features a Super Jumbo body shape with a solid spruce top and select maple back and sides, a combination that produces a bright, full-bodied sound with good projection.
- Neck and Fingerboard: The neck is typically made of hard maple with a 1960s SlimTaper D profile for comfortable playing, topped with a rosewood or pau ferro fingerboard featuring distinctive pearloid "crown" inlays.
- Hardware: It features gold-plated Grover® Rotomatic® tuning machines with an 18:1 ratio, which are highly regarded for their tuning stability. The bridge is a classic "Moustache" shape.
