This Rare B20 Paiste Sound Creation 22" DARK Ride is fantastic for just about anything. It's a perennial favorite among jazz, blues, and ballad players, and it's terrific definition, semi-dry, dark tone, and Paiste B20 shimmer make it a welcomed edition to any soul, R&B, funk, fusion, folk, country, acoustic, or rock/pop gig. Use it anytime you need a great dark, semi-dry Paiste tone WITH definition...that you can't get from the modern catalogue. At the time it was also offered as a 20” model but the larger 22” is a more desirable and rarer beast!

Not surprisingly, this 22" Sound Creation Dark Ride sounds like NO MODERN PAISTE on the market today.  In recent years, the Sound Creations have become fiercely sought after cymbals because they do no doubt capture what many people believe to be, Paiste at their best in terms cymbal making

The serial number on this cymbal dates it to 1978, so that also makes it officially vintage. Apart from some cosmetic surface marks, this cymbal is in great condition, with the all important edge and centre hole being perfect.
